If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us with your order number and concern for return instructions. Returns will only be accepted if the following criteria are met:

• Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
• All returns are subject to approval. If the listed guidelines are not met, the customer will be responsible to pay for damaged or used items, and a refund will not be issued.
• Products must be returned will all original tags and packaging in unused condition.
• Products must show no signs of use, wear, or tear. This includes stains, stretched out fabrics, hair, scratches, scuff marks, dents, tears, sewing marks, holes, glue or shellac, makeup or dirt, alterations of any kind, and odors.
• Pointe shoes must show no signs of use, sewing, scuff marks or stains, or manual manipulation. This includes cut or bent shanks, broken or softened boxes, or odors. When trying on pointe shoes, always do so with an instructor, on a clean, dry surface. Any scuff marks or dirt on pointe shoes will result in a refund being denied.
• All clearance sales are FINAL.

For the health and safety of our customers, TIGHTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED FOR ANY REASON, as they are considered undergarments. Please carefully read the size chart before ordering! Dorothy's Dance Shop is NOT responsible for incorrect sizes ordered!

POINTE SHOES SHOULD ALWAYS BE FITTED IN-STORE BY A TRAINED POINTE SHOE FITTER. DO NOT TRY TO SIZE YOURSELF AT HOME. Pointe Shoes should ONLY be worn by dancers who are currently enrolled in a pointe class and who have been approved by an instructor to be on pointe. Pointe can be dangerous if pointe shoes are not fitted correctly or are not used correctly. For this reason, Dorothy's Dance Shop does not condone or recommend purchasing pointe shoes without the approval of an instructor and without being fitted in person by a trained pointe shoe fitter.

Dorothy's Dance Shop is not responsible for injuries, product malfunction, or harm of any kind.

Before sewing or breaking in, customers should always try on new shoes to ensure desired fit on a clean, dry surface with proper supervision.

While every dancer breaks their shoes in differently, please note that Dorothy's Dance Shop will not refund or replace pointe shoes that are broken in or tampered with. This includes shoes that have cut or bent shanks, crushed or softened boxes, cut or stained exterior, show sewing marks, are shaved or beaten, darned, glued or shellacked, have makeup or dirt, or show any signs of use or manipulation. Clearance pointe shoes are final sale.
